 - East Nashville's honky-tonk chanteuse, India Ramey puts on her bullshit kickers with the new single "Ain't My First Rodeo" available May 3, 2024 (Mule Kick Records).

- The first release from the forthcoming album, "Baptized By The Blaze", written entirely by India, a fiery journey of healing, self-reckoning and empowerment, is scheduled to be released later this summer and will be India's fifth album following 2020's critically acclaimed "Shallow Graves".

- Produced by Luke Wooten (The SteelDrivers, Jim Lauderdale, Brad Paisley, Dierks Bentley, Sunny Sweeney), "Baptized By The Blaze" presents the sharpest version yet of India's unique sound. Its cinematic mix of spaghetti western landscapes, Americana-noire arrangements and classic country influences are glued together by a front woman who's never sounded prouder of her honky-tonk roots.

- "Ain't My First Rodeo" finds India casting aside the "energy vampires" who are looking to siphon away her strength. India says, "I wrote this song about narcissists. Once you know the red flags you can see 'em coming and you can buck them off.  I'm saying 'Don't bother with the dog and pony show, I'm on to you. I'm not the one.' "

- The video (to be released soon), showcasing India's dark sense of humor while jubilantly taking control of her assailants, will drive a stake into the hearts of the narcissist vampires for all eternity. Sneak peak below.

-  Already making waves before its release, "Ain't My First Rodeo" won the second place prize in American Songwriter's 2023 song contest (Americana) and India will have a feature in the upcoming issue.

-  Hand selected as an Artist in Residency at Eric Church's Chief's on Broadway (Nashville), she and her band perform every Sunday + regional touring through the summer and into the foreseeable future.
